Bartholomew's Cobble
Famed for its displays of spring wildflowers, Bartholomew’s Cobble was created by geologic upheavals when the Taconic and Berkshire mountain ranges were formed. Consisting of rocky woodlands, meadows, and floodplains along the Housatonic River, the property supports nearly 800 species of plants, including many rare ferns and wildflowers. Join us as we explore the outstanding plant life and enjoy the great views at this National Natural Landmark, which is owned and managed by The Trustees.
