Black Ash Conservation in New England
Black ash (Fraxinus nigra) is a fairly common but habitat limited ash species in central and northern New England. Fraxinus spp. are under direct threat from the invasive insect Emerald Ash Borer, and black ash is especially vulnerable due to its restricted habitat and geographical distribution in New England. This course examines Native Plant Trust's efforts to monitor, collect seed, and help protect and conserve this culturally important ash species in New England.
*A recording of this class will be available to all registrants for two weeks after the class.
